Although late night comedians still joke about Nadya Suleman, it seems to happen less and less. But, every time they do mention her name (or Octomom) I get to thinking about how her family is doing today. I'm glad that media attention has been diverted elsewhere (I was totally annoyed with the Octomom feeding frenzy), but I can't help but wonder what Octomom, Nadya Suleman, has been up to lately.
What is your typical day like when you have 14 kids, no college degree, no job, and only two helping (although completely stressed-out) grandparents to help you care your kids? What happens when the media storm that once surrounded you turns it's attention elsewhere?
I became interested in the Suleman's PR when I first saw an interview with her on Dr. Phil. I watched her representation at the time, Joanna Killeen, (who later resigned) stress three her main communication points-- AND talk about the death threats her and her firm were receiving for helping the irresponsible Suleman. Wow. This whole situation was kind of like a flash flood-- so many people had so many opinions about Suleman in such a short amount of time. How would anyone handle a situation like that?
I'm not sure, but I WILL be waiting to find out what happens next.
