Too happy in One Tree Hill

Hey, remember me? I'm the chick that started this blog and then abandoned it in it's infantry. Rude, I know. But I'm back and I'm not going to do that again because I'm not rude.

I just finished watching the season finale of One Tree Hill, and I have to say... I'm a little disappointed. All the heavy loose ends of the last episode were tied up within the first few commercial breaks, and by the end of the hour, everyone's life was perfect. Boring.

Peyton didn't die from her tragic condition; Peyton and Luke's baby was healthy and happy (and named Sawyer); Nate got into the NBA; Mia's album dropped and her and Chase are happy, together, and in love; Brooke and Victoria historically made amends; Brooke has 100% ownership in her company again; AND Brooke finally admitted her love for Julian; Julian gets his girl (Brooke); Sam is living with her birth mother; and Mouth and Millicent are both pursuing their dream careers in Tree Hill. The only downer about this episode was that Dan is still haunted by his past and possibly suicidal. But, he's never going to get over it, so this plot device isn't anything new.

At the end we learn that the moral of this story is to continue to believe in your dreams, because dreams really do come true. That's great-- but, what happens after your dreams come true? I guess I'll see next season if I bother to watch.
